Pharmacologic doses of estrogen, such as in birth control pills, inhibits the
secretion of thyroid hormone by suppressing TSH.  This is important for your
doctor to take into consideration when looking at your labs for diagnosing
hypothyroidism.  I am sure you are not crazy, and it is all too unfortunate,
but you are most definitely not alone.  I hope you get some clear answers
soon.
