Hi Sharon,
In answer to your question, point two milligrams (.2mg) = two hundred
micrograms (200mcg) It takes 1000 micrograms to make one milligram. You'll
see the two used interchangeably, from micrograms to milligrams, ect. In
your example 2mg would equal 2000mcg vs .2mg equaling 200 mcg.
(the water gets even muddier when you deal in grains...60mg=1gr...desicated
thyroid (read Armour?) used to be measured in grains, but I don't know that
to be the case now. I'm sure some of the folks on the board that take
desicated gland can verify millegrams or grain dosage.)
