Cindy,
I have a multinodular goiter. I take 180mg of Armour Thyroid daily, a full regimen
of vitamins, amino acid, collodial minerals. The Armour made the swelling go down
a little so it just looks like I have a fat neck. I have not lost as much weight
as I would like but as my DH pointed out I am not depriving myself of any food.
I am going to a doctor who specializes in holistic medicine. She diagnosed the
thyroid condition after 2 other doctors tried to convince me it was sinus. I feel
pretty good. My hair has come back, I can work a full day without collapsing, even
have started a light exercise routine.
So, don't panic. It takes time to get your dosage regulated and you should expect
to have some days when you are tired. Just listen to your body and slow down when
you start to feel zonked. Put your feet up, take a break, let your house get dirty!
It's a great way to get your kids and DH to wait on you for a change.
