For those of you interested in the Knoll pharmaceutical story, this
appeared on Reuters today:
According to Tuesday's edition of The Wall Street Journal, Knoll agreed on
August 1 to pay $98 million to claimants who had purchased the drug between
January 1, 1990 and August 1, 1997. The company decided to include an
additional $37 million if the number of claimants surpasses 5 million. The
settlement involves more than a dozen nationwide class action suits and
still needs to be approved by a court, which could take several months.
