I don't think the brand name has anything to do with its effect.

My doctor has indicated St. John's Wort for depression, not the treatment
of thyroid conditions.  She called it "the natural Prozac".  Is there
something I'm missing?  At 450mg 3x/day it worked pretty well for me.
