Leland reports:
 >>The competition for work looks very tight for the upcoming year. <<

18 out of 19 window restoration specialists interviewed since September
are reporting plenty of work and interest with schedules packed through
the winter and into the spring, beginning to schedule work for the
summer and prospects looking good for the summer. See the full report here:

with recent window specialist news reports coming in from Portland,
Oregon and Montgomery, Alabama:

Last month I was on an air flight with an independent hospital
facilities management guy who was very busy helping his clients scale
back and mothball major capital improvement and building projects. I
told him my clients were doing the same thing, mothballing and
stabilization, and how I was busy setting up maintenance programs to
effectively use limited building funds. I handed him one of my Managing
Maintenance reports, and this week he called to order a dozen more
saying he's shifting his consulting toward maintenance programming, take
care of what you got, less in more, etc.

Looks like I'll be in Omaha in December or January helping the good
folks at Joslyn Castle:

with a conditions assessment and setting up a formal maintenance program.
