Hi Kevin and others,
I used to have a steel slate with 4 lines and I think 38 characters wide.
It had a couple knobs on the back and they would fit into holes on a board.
As soon as you finished doing the first 4 lines, just release it and slide
it to the next set of holes. Among the slates that I have used, it made3
the best Braille. It would take THE 11 BY 11.5 INCH PAPER.
