Hey Eric it's been quite a while. Getting the cw filters won't effect ssb
at all. I'd still get the 1.8 kHz filter because if you ever want to use
the general coverage receiver, it will improve things substantially when
listening to foreign broadcasts and utility comms. 73- pat kk3f
