Hi there Bill, I've owned both of those HTS, and they're both fun. I 
use to walk and talk, literally, with my ft209, and speakermic, 
thought I was really cool to do that at the time. :) so neat to walk 
with it next to my ear and then talk into it, all crystal clear! :) 
Same for my IC2AT, in fact, a local ham read the manual as well as 
sold it to me, so made it a good experience.
Good radios aren't forgotten, they're just like good friends, and reliably. :)
