It says the menu item number and the current setting and the settings as you
change it but I found I setup the menu the way I like it and don't get in
there anymore so that's all I need. It doesn't say the mode, USB or what
ever in voice but for USB it will send a U in CW, LSB it sends an L, AM an
A, and so forth. that's where it says too much in my mind though, it will
say VFO, and the frequency every time you change the mode. It's really a
great radio, i have no complaints at all on the thing. I got mine in
December.
