Yes it is possible.  Get the one I just got, the Panasonic KTXG-9341 T.  It 
is not totally accessible, but it is expandable up to 6 handsets and does 
have an answering machine.  You can use the furnished generic greeting or 
record one yourself.  Most functions are spoken but not all.  If you can't 
find at a local store like BestBuy, you can order it direct from Panasonic 
on their website:

www.panasonic.com

or by calling 1-800-7262 and following the prompts.  It even has a voice 
prompt when you need to recharge the handset.
