Hi
Any ideas if anyone has any plans to update digitalk?
Sounds like the least painful option.

Hi Aaron,

Like some others on the list, I've puttered around with PSK using Digitalk
or Digipan. Digitalk is self voicing and seems to work fairly well on a
Windows 98 pc. For some of us however, it started crashing on XP after
some Windows update or other. For me, it seemed to crash around the time I
installed service pack 2. Your mileage may vary.

Digipan has a lot more features, but the problem is getting JAWS to read
incoming text properly. At odd times it reads just fine, but mostly it
doesn't and there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to why and there seems
to be no way to reproduce the result when it does work. Again, you may
have better luck.

My preference is RTTY and I use MMTTY and JAWS. Spent a short time in the
ANARTS RTTY contest this past weekend and worked about 20 QSO's and a
dozen countries. It's not a major contest and activity was limited. No
rare DX for me, but did work a couple of UA3's and SV.

No experience with APRS.

73, Steve KW3A
