I think he spelled it with a j but I didn't when I wrote that last email.
Charles was a good friend.  He died a couple of months ago of a heart
attack.  His wife called me from Florida when it happened.  Charles got
married in my living room.  He was a big man at 6 2 or whatever it was, and
he told me once upon a time he weighed 620 pounds.  Man, he could play the
keyboard like no body's business, too.  I'll sure miss Charles but I loved
that big black man like my own brother.  He is with Jesus now so he isn't in
any more pain and I bet the Lord took him right over to the big pipe organ
first thing, too.
