I found a double strength version at CVS and it has "free of gluten" on the 
bottle.  You have to look all over the bottle for it, but it's there. It is the 
capsules, not caplets.

Yes, try Cosamine DX. It's the only one that has the GoodHousekeepign seal 
and is regularly monitored for glucosamine chondroitin content.

 I've been taking, with very good results, the Schiff brand of glucosomine 
with MSM (not Chrondroitin). I get it at Costco and no wheat, or gluten, is 
listed on the label. I take 2 a day, 1,500 mg of each in each tablet.  If you want

I take Osteo Bi-Flex with MSM.  It's GF.  Have taken it it for a long time 
and now have my hubby taking it.  Costco brand is Gf but it is a very large 
pill!!

If you have a Sam's near you,and know someone who has a membership if you 
don't, the bottles of their meds that are Gluten Free are marked Gluten Free on 
the labels.  I use their brand which is Called Member's Mark.

I don't know of a brand off hand but I think that you have to take it for 
awhile to get results.  I'm sure others who use it regularly will let you know.  
I tried it for 3 months and it didn't help my rheumatoid arthritis but my dr. 
said that they have proof that it does help some people.

I take prednisone for inflamation and methotrexate and Humira for on-going 
desease control.  I use Tylenol if I need more help or Volteren Gel (RX like 
ibuprophen but applied tropically so less gets in your system).  I can't take any 
NSAIDs.  Bextra worked great until they took it off the market but 
Celebrex  and Vioxx upset my stomach.

There are a number of gluten-free glucosamine chondroitin products - Nature 
Made, Walgreen's brand and others.  Some say gluten-free on the label,  others 
I have called on.

The "problem" with the glucosamine chondroitin is it take a while to become 
effective - you can't expect the same relief just by switching from Celebrex  
to glucosamine chondroitin.

I use the glucosamine chondtroitin along with an anti-inflammatory.  They do 
different things.  The G C works to support and lubricate joints but does not 
reduce pain or inflammation.

Unless the glucosamine and chondroitin has MSN as well, they are building 
blocks for the cushion area around  as well; this supplement actually inhibits 
the Cox-2 enzyme which is part of Celebrex's function.
Also, getting off Celebrex certainly helped lessen my whole gastrointestinal 
issue.
