I didn't get too many responses to whether calcium carbonate as the form of calcium can help diarrhea.  One person said that she takes calcium caltrate 600-D with each meal and it helps a ton.  I did read tht calcium carbonate is not absorbed very well and that the excess soaks up fluid and bile in the intestine to help with diarrhea or cause constipation.  Thanks, Sandi
