This is easily fixed.  It's not JAWS that needs adjusted, it's Word.  In the
Tools/Options Menu under general options there is a check box which if
checked will show all the carriage marks which Word calls Paragraph Marks.
Just uncheck that box, and your problem should go away.

Hi all.  I don't know what I might have done to cause this, and I sure hope
some of you will recognize it.  A couple of days ago JAWS began announcing
every hard return in my MS Word docs by saying New Paragraph after each line
of text that contains a hard return.  Any hints as to what happened, and
better yet, any hints on how to fix it?
