Hello,
I was using a rich text format and I unchecked that option. is this
better?
the people who told me that were abusers, I was abused by a group in
their late teens/early 20's when I was 12. but I'd heard that before,
from another abuser. they made it seem like everyone in the world
agreed with them.
one thing I read about group abuse is that the perpetrators are often
trying to prove a distorted version of masculinity (assuming they are
male, which mine were). so that they are showing off for each other.
so the stuff about me being weak was very important to them. the
weaker I got, the stronger they looked in comparison. I still don't
really understand it.
thanks
Mary Katherine

First of all, what email client are you using? Are you sending your
messages in plain text?
To me independence means being able to make informed choices and live
your
own life as you wish without having to depend on anyone else to make
your
decisions for you. It also means being able to say "no" and having it
understood as "no."
Now please tell me, who in the hell told you you 'seemed "weak" and
easy to
abuse'? That is so numbingly inhumane, it's despicable. Abuse victims
have
problems trusting anyone and please know you're not alone in this.
