Thanks Martin, Sensationalism in print appears to be nothing new. I assume
this small, hill-town, Vermont weekly picked this up from whatever was the
equivalent of AP news feed in those days. I haven't read any further
papers to see if they printed a retraction when the truth was known. Ruth
