the oakland area has not been affected by the smoke pollution too badly. my eyes got a bit itchy the other day on a walk, but we are 800 miles from la.

Janet is Kendall's wife, who is going through painful treatment for
injuries (which I believe are joint-tendon-related).

We have not heard from Sunflower - I'd be interested to know if shes OK
with and hope she was not affected by all the fires in California.  I trust
