Rhonda,
Personally I see it this way. God gave us a gift of freedom to choose. He
told us from the beginning choose life or choose death, blessing or
cursing. If he, himself, gave everyone that choice, I don't think he holds
us to a higher level of responsibility for others than he does himself.
Does he blame Christ for those who refused him? Those who mocked and cursed
him? We are told to spread the good news but also to live quiet godly
lives. It is amazing to me when folks become Christians they feel
they now have to be SuperChrists and suddenly responsible for the world's
salvation... I once was as a youngin' in the Lord. I believe we are held
accountible for "our" actions and beliefs, but not that of others, but that
is just my personal thought.
