I have a commercial, I believe, desk mic like that. It takes a 1/4 inch plug 
in to the back of it wired like that and right now it's wired for a 4 pin 
Kenwood. I have no clue where the mic came from, no one's ever heard of it 
but it sounds pretty close to the MC-50. I need to clean the PTT button 
though. It has 2 mic hookups but no switch between the 2 so I'd never hook 
up 2 radios to it. Anyway, I've seen a lot of old radios like that over the 
years, very easy to wire up to.
