Hi Lynn,

Hahaha, yes very 20th Century of me. Thank you so much for the descriptions
of the machines. I have been a Talking Book reader for 45 years. I
remember the huge boxes of thick records. Then there were the reel to reel
tapes. You needed a blank reel to keep track of where you were in the book
and they played at normal reading speed. I can't imagine not being able to
increase the speed. Hmmm, are the CD players variable speed?

I just called the library and they won't be getting the new digital players
in before the end of next year. The veterans have priority on the new
players but I suggested that RFB&D readers be next in line.

OK, so when do isolinear chips come out?

JODY
