I'm getting a blue screen with the following message:

This may of happened after pressing the reset button after it was starting up.

STOP: c0000218 {Registry file failure}
The registery cannot load the hive (file):
\Systemroot\system32\config\DEFAULT
or its log or alternate.
It is corrupt, absent, or not writable.

Beginning dump of physical memory
Physical memory dump complete.
contact your system administrator or technical
support.


This screen goes by so fast I had to take a picture of it so I could read it all.

I t goes it a loop with screen from Starting Windows Normal.

The screen comes up with "Safe Mode" etc. options

The only disk I have is the Windows XP Home Edition with upgrade version with SP1

Can anyone help?
