These low protein/high fat diets are pretty popular. Nora Gedgaudes recommends very small meat servings and lots of fat as well, and lots of paleo types seem to eat buckets of fat. I assume they are eating closer to 75g of protein, but WOW does that not work for me.
If I shoot for lots of fat and lower protein, I overeat fat and gain weight. Carbs seem irrelevant to that situation. I keep them low...doesn't matter, I still gain. I do not find fat to be anywhere near as satisfying as protein. I know a lot of folks feel differently.
