Oliva > Actually, was this processed dairy from corporate farming or raw dairy from range animals?

I see your point and it's a good one. Surely raw dairy from range animals is better (less bad?) But forgetting about lactose and casein for a moment, even raw, grassfed dairy contains ridiculously high levels of betacellulin. A quart of whole milk, in fact, has 50 times more of this hormone than is secreted in a day by an average human. Betacellulin activates the EGF receptor and, in doing so, "promotes cancer by 1) increasing cell proliferation, 2) decreasing programmed cell death (apoptosis), 3) increasing growth of blood vessels (angiogenesis) within tumors." (Cordain)
