Hi Christine - several things come to mind - and if you've already done
them, please disregard. First question would be - has there been a
change in, um, well - your "elimination patterns"?! Constipation can
sometimes be a part of the hypo experience, as I found first hand, but
when it comes to bloating and pain as you've described, it makes me
wonder about a blockage of some sort --- which COULD come from many
other things... fibroids to name just one (as in, putting pressure on
the colon depending on their location and such in the unterus). A
thorough gynecological exam might well be in order - sooner the
better. Very much related to all of that are digestive questions --
gas produced by poor digestion is well known "middle sweller" - and can
contribute to pains in all sorts of places in the body which might not
make logical sense on the face of it... Might keep a food diary - along
with notes about what you're feeling, when, and see if you can detect a
pattern there. Beyond that - might try a gentle form of exercise -
like walking - which keeps the circulation going, moving the muscles
which in turn sort of "massage" the organs, and thus help things move
along as they should in their respective channels... It can be really
frustrating - i know! Hang in there - most often, all of us react to
pain by "bracing ourselves" against it -- if you can, instead,- and I
know it may sound crazy, but humor me: "play along with it", relax into
it/the pains, and imagine yourself listening to what it has to tell
you... this opens the intuition like crazy and you may just find some
important ideas popping into your mind which will allow you to find the
relief you need. All best wishes, Jan
