I have a quick question. I had the Celiac panel done by Specialty Labs in
Santa Monica, CA, because my 6 year old daughter was diagnosed with Celiac
Disease at the age of 16 months, and I was "tentatively" diagnosed with Lupus
a couple of years ago...although now my doctor is not convinced I have
Lupus...although he does think I have an autoimmune "problem"...my only
positive test result on the Lupus panel was an ANA of 1:1250. Anyway,
because nobody in our family has Celiac Disease, I just decided to have the
blood drawn and tested because upon reading from this list it seemed like a
lot of my symptoms were appearing on this list...and I was beginning to make
a connection between my daughters diagnosed malabsorption sydrome and my
strange ailments. My test results came back as follows:
Anti-endomysium - negative
Anti-Gliadin, IgA - negative
Anti-Gliadin, IgG - positive 1:19
My doctor doesn't think this means anything...do you???
