Hi Beth,

The senior sister is in charge of all the nursing staff on the ward/department. 
A consultant is a senior doctor so is responsible for medical decisions (he 
would have Registrars and Junior Doctors working under him - not nursing 
staff).

Thats the short answer!! I'll send more stuff off list (and pay rates - we're 
always looking for good OTs). ;-)
