Hi, all.

Well, I bought another Kenwood TMV71A at Dayton this past week-end, along
with the VGS1 voice chip.

The stuff was ordered through AES, and should be arriving at the home QTH
within the next few days.

I don't know if I'm getting braver or more cavalier in my old age, but I was
wondering if anyone on the list has managed to install the VGS1 voice chip
independently, and how you did it.

I can get sighted assistance if needed, but I'm kind of interested in trying
it myself, as long as that wouldn't be too risky or foolish.

I would appreciate any thoughts or suggestions.
