Steve:
I don't use the N3FJP software to actually run the radio. ... At least, I
haven't figured out how to do that yet.
What I do is simply do my log entries manually as I make the contacts.
Actually, the software logging computer interface is something I've wanted
to do for a long time, but you know how that goes; it's one of those
projects that keeps getting put on the back burner, and never gets done. ...
I keep saying: "One of these years." ... .
In my IC746 trade where I got the second TS480, the guy actually threw in a
computer sound card interface that he used with the TS480 for a while, but I
am assuming that's just for PSK31, if I'd want to get into that someday.
Anyway, I'll write Scott and Kimberlie and assk them, although I don't think
they'll know what the Jaws cursor is.
But, maybe I can verbalize the question in a way that will make sense to
them.
Thanks, Steve, and I'm looking forward to the contest.
