Regarding peddle-powered radio, we tried that once at our club's field
day. We made one contact with a bicycle-powered station, and the guy who
did it barely made it through the contact before running out of peddle
power.
Now, granted, we're probably all out of shape, and eat way too much bad food
at field day, but that was sure a tough road to go!
