Hi;
Although I'm not shopping today, I was surprised to see your newer tmg71a 
for sale.  You mentioned that you found you weren't happy with the radio. 
For those of us thinking it sounds wonderful, what issues or concerns did 
you have?  You mentioned that you were to far from the city to hit some 
repeaters.  The problem will obviously be far worse with a hand held 
although you can take the radio with you if you are traveling to a better 
location.
