Wow! what a question. Most of the Blind people I know are a bit looney <g>,
and i think that if you are referring to visual hallucinations, I guess it
would depend on whether or not you ever had sight. I still dream in real
color at times and I haven't had sight in 42 years. I know a lot of Blind
guys who say they hear things--like me talking about them behind their
back--when it ain't a' happenin' <guffaw>! ...So I guess that qualifies as
an audio hallucination, doesn't it?

that's an unusual off topic question. Whenever I take acid I don't get
crazy visuals. It's supposed to be a visual drug so that's probably why. I
just feel very buzzed. So I don't see things or hear things but it's an
incredible buzz.

Subject: off topic Can Blind People hallucinate?
Hi
I have a sighted friend (Bob) who has been wondering, can Blind People
hallucinate? He says that people who hallucinate see things that are not
there. So, therefore he wonders since blind people can not see he wondered
if it was possible for them to hallucinate. I had never contemplated the
matter much but I told him I would forward the question to the list. I will
be glad to send any messages you have on the matter back to him.
Thank you for helping to answer this retired policeman's question.
God bless,
Mark
