Mark,

40 years ago, when I was 16 years young, I did LSD 9 times as a blind
person. I sure did hallucinate. One Saturday afternoon, as I lay on my
back on my bed, I felt like I was at the bottom of a fishbowl. I saw sand
castles and fish drifting through the air as if it were water. One time I
was listening to Country Joe and the Fish I had recorded on my Sony open
reel recorder. Without realizing it, I laid my hand on one of the reels as
it turned. Suddenly, my tape recorder began melting and dripping down the
side of the dresser it was sitting on. When I removed my hand, I burst out
laughing when I realized what I had done. Most of the hallucinations seemed
to be sound related but I did, at the same time, seem to imagine various
objects and things at various times near me that were never there. It is
sort of difficult to explain. I have written about some of these things on
my website in my autobiography called "Liquid Purple," for what it is worth,
and it is found as a link on the main page.

Phil.
