Hi,

Yes, blind people definitely halucinate.  And halucination isn't 
just seeing things that aren't there.

One time I had to have some surgery and discovered I was apparently 
overdosing on the pain killer they gave me afterwards.  It 
definitely helped the pain, but I started imagining hearing voices 
and even conversations from people who weren't even there.  I 
realized later after the pain killer wore off just what had happened 
and it scared me enough I wouldn't take the pain killer anymore at 
all and just put up with it.

So, I think you can halucinate using whatever of your senses is 
appropriate for that moment.
