Hi John,
Well, Florida is very prolific with NTS nets. There are phone nets at 7:00
Am, noon, 5:00 PM, 6:00 PM and 10:30. There are CW nets at 8:30 Am, 5:30
PM, 7:00 PM 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM. I was manager of the nets at 5:00 PM,
5:30 PM and 8:00 PM. I was NCS on those three plus the 7:00 AM net, the
noon net, the 6:00 and the 10:30 nets. I was also manager of 4Rn that met
in the afternoon. I was also NCS on a local net. I was quite active on all
those nets and came to Connecticut. It was like going from a lush jungle to
a dessert. UP here there are three NTS nets, one phone and two CW unless
one got dropped. I was active on a couple 2 meter nets. Manager of one. I
guess I was a glutton for punishment. I was also active in ARES and the
weather nets. 73
