Some years back I bought a program on disk from FRB&DO to play some of their books. The quality of some of the books was very bad and others were ok. My program disk cracked and when I called them to explain my dilemma they basically said tuff s..... I thought that they might let me download the program or send me another disk but their attitude sounded nothing like a non profit agency. Today for the first time in years, I went back to their sight to see if things had changed or technology was improved enough for me to invest in either software or their hardware. Their hardware, is grocely over priced but I would pay it if it is worth it. I know no blind person in the area and so I have no one to turn to other than you guys for information and advice from someone with more than just walking around sense. Thank you for any information or referral to a more appropriate list. PS. I'm still using Jaws 5.1 and audible seems to have become more blind unfriendly than ever. Do the rest of you have the same problem? Damn it's expensive to be blind, isn't it!
