Hi.

If the antenna is a full wave loop, it shouldn't be necessary, but the 
easiest way to run the loop is to feed it with open wire and load it with a 
tuner.  You can use coax on the fundamental frequency, but it is easier to 
load harmonically with an open wire feed.
