Do Not Be Tricked
( A poem to a lady in the dock)
Their pretense boomerangs in their faces
As they fail to justify their fallacies
In a drama to brutalize truth
For the wrongs in which they betray trust
The world muses over their errors
They turn their attacks on us
As their games turn out ugly
In a facade of miscalculations
Bringing to trial their manners
They fumble through their errors
You have been among the nice ones
Since those jolly days of ours
When joy pervade our lives
A denial of the testimonies of liars
The world is flabbergasted by their errors
Their constrained legislators enact statutes
That seek to protect their pervert states
And their jurors are ennobled
To protect their politics for eternity
But therein remain their errors
Then be steadfast in justice dear companion
And remain within the warriors' camp
To be a source of pride to your kindred
And a worthy descendant of those who build kingdoms
Do not be tricked by their errors
