All I can tell you is that the tart cherry juice works wonders when my hubby has gout.  Takes maybe a day or two for relief.  I would assume there would be some heat used in processing the juice, but I don't know that for sure.  If there is, and it still works this well, then your butter product would probably do the same.  :)
