The problem has two sources: how you post to the list
and how you read it. I always post direct to the list at
the ICORS website. This gives my posts the =A0 and =20
characters in the e-mails, but they are not visible if I
read my posts at ICORS. Todd tells us he's posting from
a handheld device and that has apparently made his posts
illegible to some people who read the list in certain ways.
Posts which are cut and pasted from web pages are often
illegible too.
Trish Leon's post was sent from her BlackBerry and was
64-bit encoded text when I read it as an e-mail, but is totally
legible at the ICORS site.
Has anyone got a method of posting that is reliable for all
list members?
