As long as we are talking about food that breaks the paleo rules here...

Slice them up fairly thin (tubers - potatoes) (not as thin as chips,
more like cheese slice thickness), and get a pan of fresh coconut oil
very hot, fry them up, take them out add sea salt and cracked pepper
to taste.  Yum.

Best done outside on the side burner of a grill as it can get to be a mess.

An occasional treat for me.
