Ruth,
Now I feel bad. Truth is, my sister is in Waitsfield and my brother in
Smuggler's Notch, and we usually go up for a couple days, no more. So we are
tweaking at a little over the double nickel when we hit the boarder. But I
have driven the West River Road many times, steering from my Dad's lap when
I was eight or nine. I stayed in West Wardsboro for a couple of months when
we salvaged the West Wardsboro Inn back in 1970. My favorite all time
swimming hole is Hamilton Falls. Do you know it? I will try to stop in
within the next year, now that I know admission costs can be deferred
indefinitely. How much notice do you need, and what are the museum hours?
Best,
Leland

Leland, I'm SO terribly hurt!!!! You came to VT several times and didn't
stop at the informal screwdriver museum. You don't know what you are
missing!!!!! And the admission price is very reasonable, I keep it the
same as the dues to avoid confusion. Ruth, still waiting in the ticket
booth at the screwdriver museum for my first customer. BooHoo
