My extensive internet search on the topic of why we have earlobes is of the
consensus that scientists believe that earlobes are a generic flaw, that is,
and evolutionary oversight and that there is no real purpose for that extra
piece of skin hanging below your ear.  No one seemed to recommend cutting it
off, of course, but rather to using it for earrings or sexual erogenous
preasure as described by some.  Boy, what a waist of reading article after
article after the last couple of days.
