There is a show on CNBC called DLife...concerning diabetes. Today there was an item on diabetics who are celiac. Interesting news article, but with some caveats. They talked about the connection between Type 1 diabetes, but not Type 2...totally ignored. Yet, every diabetic/celiac I know is type 2. They also did not mention that diabertes, celiac and alcholism are on the same gene strand.

Dr Green was interviewed and he said that in terms of general population !% is celiac but with Type 1 diabetics, 8 to 10% are celiac.

The show offered their website www.dlife.com/celiac for more info.

Here in NYC the show is on on Sundays. Worthwhile looking at.
