Galleh,
On a second look, I think there is more to the story than that meets the
eye.
1. Where was Mr. Northfield held to find it necessary to swim through
crocodile-infested rivers into safety? or did he mistaken
green-uniformed security agents for crocodiles?
2. Where were the great security forces when a group of British private
security agents smuggled Mr. Northfield out of the country. Were they
distracted by Kanilai farm chores or "set-settal"
3. What is our mighty government saying about the escape of one of their
high-valued prisoners (at least we were told he was worth 10 million
dalasi bail). Are they asking the British government for his return?
Could the government's silence (I am yet to read the case in Gambian
papers) say more than what's been said?
