Well, I had one up here in Vegas, I replaced it with a b and w 1.8-30 
because my solid state amp needed a good swr.  Anyhow, I used a 30 foot 
tv mast with no guys and my ends are only 3 foot or so above the ground.
  That is all the room I had.  Better to have the ends higher if you can, 
but I didn't have any choice here.
