i wonder...microsoft doesn't  "support" win 98 and win 95 either, but
those OS's still work just great.
I guess I should just stick jfw 8 or 9 on a win 98 machine and see for
myself....freedom scientific must have made anything after 7.1 purposely
not work with 98 since most of the basic stuff is the same in jaws since
that release.
perhaps support means tech support as opposed to actually being able to
work.
