Tom, the rx stats are a bit better on the 480.  Better sensativity and lower 
harmonic distortion.  I hear that you can drive the 2000 with an HT, but 
probably very difficult if you are blind.  Ht to Hf would be cool.  People 
comment on the clarity of the 480 audio.
It's kind of like the drake line, do you want to be understood, or do you 
want to be a broadcaster?  Broadcasting is fun, but much better if you are 
running high power.
