I've got to take a 4 day class in Chattanooga TN the first week of
March. I don't know my way around at all, will carry all the food I
can, but at some point will probably need to order a meal. Is there
someplace safe for me to eat there??? When we go to Nashville, we often
go to the big health food store where I can do up my own salad, that
works well. But I have noted that if I order a salad at a restaurant, I
get sick, really sick, with diarrhea for about 4 days afterward. I
don't even buy lettuce anymore, as it has happened at home too. And
once, in a local Thai restaurant where I have eaten safely for several
years, they bought some shredded cabbage as a sort of salad to accompany
the curry, and my husband and I BOTH got gut trouble from it. I just
don't need any more gut trouble, prefer to go hungry than risk it. I
know most of you order salads if you don't know what else is safe, but
that doesn't work at all for me. Help! Donna in Cookeville
